Terribly Twisted

Kim Copeland

Your tongue
fleshy denizen of your mouth
your biting tongue
rebel tongue
tongue that stung the roof of my mouth
and then some
tongue
deadly weapon behind a benign barricade
of pearly whites
your lying tongue
conniving tongue
white hot knife through butter tongue
yours
tell me
what did you intend to do with that thing
disembowel me
oh
you would
